Hoping to relive a childhood desire, I finally got my hands on a NEW release of this classic show called, “Ronin Warriors” or “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers.” This was originally a late 80s to early 90s show, that got another run in the early 2000s on Cartoon Network’s Toonami.
Being one of the last students to get dropped off the bus, I had to tape record the episodes and foward the tape to pass all the ads.. There was no ad-block of skip button guys. Anyways, I grabbed this 2021 November release off of the Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS). Let’s check it out!

Big Bad Toy Store Concerns?
This is probably my 4th order from this store and I have zero complaints about any of their packing or shipping. Everything came appropriately secure.
Did Bandai Screw This Up?
Scratches, dents and paint job
In terms of the box, there was a slight box defect. It doesn’t seem like that big of a deal and I would still get a pretty good deal if I had to sell this figure with this box.

Not sure if the “special color edition,” just meant the infernal armor or the fact that they painted this figure more metallic than white. I’ve seen
Some parts are kind of hard to remove and slide-in
In the unboxing video, I highlighted a couple concerns with trying to remove the head from the helmet and the shoulder armor parts, but it wasn’t too big of a deal. If I really wanted to take it off, I could. But still important to note, when needing to use force, it increases the likelihood of something breaking, which is no position anyone wants to be in.
Loosey-goosey

You can see in the unboxing video how loose the hip or side part was. You are better off putting that side piece on last. As long as it stays on while stationary, that’s all that matters right? It’s not like I’m going to pretend to be 8 years old and start zooming through my room with him in my hand.. Act like adults guys! Nah. Big man-child forever!
Price ripoff?
Bandais’s competitor Sentinel is selling their figures a bit cheaper for around $145. I don’t have anything figures from them yet, so I will hold my opinions until then. I got Rowan coming from Entertainment Earth and Sage coming from BBTS. I did find these figures sold at Hobby-Genki located in Osaka, Japan. Even with DHL shipping, it will be cheaper, but there are risks in buying overseas. When the time comes, I will definitely make a blog post about it!

Overall, nothing was severely out of place. We have a few very minor issues with the box and parts, but I work with the mindset that it could always be worse. For $200, it’s quite pricey. Though, I have found a cheaper alternative at Hobby-Genki located in Osaka. It looks amazing in the detolf display.
I bought 2 (one for a gift) and the Ranma 1/2 (girl ver.) Q Posket as well.
Ryo’s Infernal Armor was $199 + tax + ship
I bought it here
